Facundo L. Pfeffer

Email: facundo.pfeffer@berkeley.edu

Facundo Pfeffer is an M.S. student in the Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials (SEMM) program at the University of California, Berkeley.

Before Berkeley, he served as a structural engineering consultant at the Instituto de Mecánica Aplicada y Estructuras (IMAE) in Argentina, in collaboration with Dr. Oscar Möller and Horacio Fideleff, two university professors. Apart from his structural engineering background, he served as Manager of the Research & Development (R&D) Data-Engineering Department at Connectist, leading a six-person team developing event-driven Python systems and cloud-based workflows (AWS) for large-scale data processing, including conducting technical interviews and performance evaluations.

Now at STAIRlab, Facundo will leverage his software development and structural analysis background to develop novel finite element formulations for structural health monitoring of bridge structures.
